What is segue about? 

Segue is a community rooted in the Christian faith that cares about students and the issues they face with a focus on local and global justice, intentional community, spiritual growth and leadership development.

What do we do?

What do we VALUE? The coming 2025-6 year we are working to branch out and include more students than ever before.

What we offer:  
  • Weekly Tech Free Lunch (swapping out our phones for a slice of pizza and engaging in face-to-face conversation)
  • Weekly Segue Villages (small groups Bible studies)
  • Social Events like... Games Nights, Guys & Girls Nights
  • Volunteer Opportunities With Common Table (free community meal)
  • Volunteer Opportunities With The Fort Richmond Food Bank (partnership between Segue UofM, Converge Community Church and Manitoba Harvest)
  • Office space (booked through UMSU) to hang out and study in between classes in the basement of Helen Glass
  • Weekly Tuesday Morning Devos (time to meet first thing in the morning to encourage each other and pray)
  • Leadership Development Opportunities
  • Winnipeg Winter Survival Workshop (geared towards students who are newcomers to Canadian winters)
  • Red Frogs Hydration Stations​
  • Intramural Teams - Water Polo / Volleyball / Archery (depending on the year)
  • Mentorship Opportunities
  • Connections with people from many different cultural backgrounds
  • ANNUAL FALL RETREAT and MORE!!
